            Summary: Mealbook helps groups (mess) manage shared meals and bazar (grocery) expenses. Your account and mess data are stored securely on our own server and are never sold or shared with third parties.
        

1. Introduction | ভূমিকা

English: Mealbook ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our mess/meal management mobile application.

বাংলা: মিলবুক ("আমরা", "আমাদের") আপনার গোপনীয়তা রক্ষায় প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ। এই গোপনীয়তা নীতি ব্যাখ্যা করে কীভাবে আমরা আপনার ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য সংগ্রহ, ব্যবহার এবং সুরক্ষিত করি যখন আপনি আমাদের মেস/মিল ব্যবস্থাপনা মোবাইল অ্যাপ্লিকেশন ব্যবহার করেন।

2.1 Account Information | অ্যাকাউন্ট তথ্য

Full name (নাম)
Phone number (ফোন নম্বর) — used as your login ID
Password (encrypted/hashed) (পাসওয়ার্ড - এনক্রিপ্টেড)

2.2 Mess & Meal Data | মেস এবং মিল ডেটা

Mess (group) name, address, and member list (মেসের নাম, ঠিকানা এবং সদস্য তালিকা)
Daily meal entries per member (দৈনিক মিল এন্ট্রি)
Bazar (grocery) expense records, amounts, and notes (বাজার খরচের রেকর্ড)
Invitations sent to other members (আমন্ত্রণ তথ্য)
In-app notifications (নোটিফিকেশন)

2.3 Technical & Diagnostic Data | কারিগরি ডেটা

We collect limited crash/error logs (tag, message, stack trace) sent automatically from the app to help us fix bugs. These logs do not include your password.

3. How We Use Your Information | কীভাবে আমরা আপনার তথ্য ব্যবহার করি

Account Management: To create, authenticate, and manage your account (অ্যাকাউন্ট তৈরি ও পরিচালনা করতে)
Core Functionality: To track meals, bazar expenses, and calculate mess bills/settlements (মিল ও বাজার হিসাব রাখতে)
Collaboration: To share mess data among members of the same mess so bills can be split fairly (মেস সদস্যদের মধ্যে হিসাব ভাগাভাগি করতে)
Notifications: To alert you about mess activity (e.g. new bazar entry, invitations) (নোটিফিকেশন পাঠাতে)
App Improvement: To diagnose and fix crashes using error logs (অ্যাপ উন্নয়নে)

4. Data Storage & Security | ডেটা স্টোরেজ এবং নিরাপত্তা

English: Your data is stored on our secured backend server over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection. Passwords are never stored in plain text. A copy of recent data is cached locally on your device to allow offline viewing.

বাংলা: আপনার ডেটা এনক্রিপ্টেড (HTTPS/TLS) সংযোগের মাধ্যমে আমাদের নিরাপদ সার্ভারে সংরক্ষিত হয়। পাসওয়ার্ড কখনো প্লেইন টেক্সটে সংরক্ষণ করা হয় না। অফলাইন দেখার জন্য সাম্প্রতিক ডেটার একটি কপি আপনার ডিভাইসে স্থানীয়ভাবে ক্যাশে রাখা হয়।

5. Data Sharing | ডেটা শেয়ারিং

            We DO NOT sell your personal data. We DO NOT share it with third parties for advertising.
            
            আমরা আপনার ব্যক্তিগত ডেটা বিক্রি করি না এবং বিজ্ঞাপনের জন্য তৃতীয় পক্ষের সাথে শেয়ার করি না।

Your name and meal/bazar entries are visible only to other members of the same mess you belong to, since this is required for shared bill calculation.

6. Your Rights | আপনার অধিকার

6.1 Access Your Data

You can view your account, mess, meal, and bazar data within the app at any time.

6.2 Leave a Mess

You can leave a mess from Settings. If you are the only member, the mess is deleted.

6.3 Delete Your Account | আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছুন

English: To request deletion of your account and all associated personal data, email us at the address below with your registered phone number. We will delete your account and data within 30 days.

বাংলা: আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট সমস্ত ব্যক্তিগত ডেটা মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ করতে, নিচের ইমেইলে আপনার নিবন্ধিত ফোন নম্বরসহ যোগাযোগ করুন। আমরা ৩০ দিনের মধ্যে আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট ও ডেটা মুছে ফেলব।

7. Children's Privacy | শিশুদের গোপনীয়তা

Our app is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

আমাদের অ্যাপ ১৩ বছরের কম বয়সী শিশুদের জন্য নয়। আমরা জেনেশুনে ১৩ বছরের কম বয়সী শিশুদের কাছ থেকে ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য সংগ্রহ করি না।

8. Changes to This Policy | এই নীতিতে পরিবর্তন

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.

9. Data Retention | ডেটা ধারণ

We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you request deletion, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
